Tips and Advice for Trips to Lapland
Most holiday resorts include thermal clothing for the duration of your stay. If the
trip to Lapland is on the cheap side then ensure you check out what is included.
Additional items to take are:

Thermal undergarments

Lots of thin long sleeved layers. This is better than one think jumper as the layers
insulate you.

Pack lots of extra gloves, scarves and socks. Again, take a thin pair to go under the thick
pair to ensure great insulation.

Hot pads/packets that are warmed up via the microwave are useful.

DON'T FORGET! to buy/rent/ask for boots and clothing two sizes too big to allow for
all the extra clothes and socks you will be wearing!
NB: If the provider does not provide you with boots then you must bring thermal or good
hiking boots with you. Please be aware trainers, pumps and wellies are not suitable.
